3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking from Kigali

Day 1: Departure from Kigali and transfer to the Bwindi Forest in Uganda
As soon as you land at Kigali Airport to begin your Uganda Gorilla trekking from Kigali, a representative from our travel agency along with your driver and guide will be waiting to welcome you into Rwanda. They will then take you on a tour of Kigali city, including a stop at the Genocide memorial site, a visit to the Crafts village, and a stroll through the local market.

After lunch at a nearby establishment, you will begin the journey to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will drive northwest of Kigali, enter Uganda at the Katuna frontier, and continue on to Bwindi, arriving in the evening.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking
In spite of the bitter cold of Bwindi, you will be greeted with a delicious breakfast each morning. Only a short distance away from the lodge, the pack headquarters are waiting for you to visit while you sip a steaming cup of tea or coffee and eat the lunch that you brought with you. From this location, you will receive a training on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi, find out which group of gorillas you will be visiting, and then start off with your head guide.

Walk into the forest in quest of the gorillas, and once you discover them, you will be able to spend up to an hour with them if you are successful in your hunt. After the hike, you will check in with your driver and guide and then be driven back to the lodge, where you can unwind and rest.

The primary location of interest is the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, or Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge are your options for overnight accommodations.

Meals and drinks are covered in their entirety. drinks that don’t include alcohol

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and then departure.
You should get an early start on your journey back to Kigali after having breakfast in the misty Bwindi with lovely views from the resort, but first you should eat breakfast there. On a day with good visibility, you will be able to see the gorgeous terraced hills of Kabale, as well as rice gardens in Rwanda and an unusual stretch of bamboo. After arriving in Kigali in the afternoon, you will either be dropped off at your accommodation in Kigali or taken to the airport to continue your journey.
