Our tour guide will meet you at the airport or hotel and drive you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forst Lodge (Luxury), Nyungwe Top View Hotel (Mid-range), and Gisakura Guest House (Basic).
Day 2: Chimp Tracking – Canopy Walk/Nature Walk/Bird Watching

After an early breakfast at your hotel, proceed with your guide to the Nyungwe forest headquarters for a briefing on chimp tracking. The rangers know the finest locations to readily track the chimps. As you walk through the jungle, you will encounter other primates such as monkeys, which will pique your interest as you move closer to the chimps. You return for lunch and rest after spending time with the chimps. You go for a forest canopy stroll in the afternoon. Dinner and stay at your Day 1 hotel.
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park on Day 3

Arrive at your accommodation early, and your guide will transport you to Volcanoes National Park. The route will take you through Lake Kivu, where you will have clear views of the water body and opportunities to photograph the stunning scenery. Have lunch on the way and continue our intriguing journey. Arrive late and check in to Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Volcanoes Lodge (Luxury), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge / La Palme (Mid-range), or Muhabura Hotel (Basic).

Once you’ve met the gentle giants, you have a maximum of one hour with them before returning to your lodge. If you have time in the afternoon, take a trip to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Dinner and lodging at your lodge
