2 Days Uganda gorilla trekking from Kigali
This short gorilla trekking safari is designed to enable guests with limited time or budget to track the Uganda gorillas from Kigali. The safari departs from Rwanda’s capital city of Kigali. The journey begins and ends in Kigali, and it includes a transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest so that you can do gorilla tracking there. When compared to the price of a gorilla trekking permit in Rwanda, which is $1,500, the cost of such a permit in Uganda is only $600, allowing tourists to make significant financial savings while still having the opportunity to enjoy the same gorilla trekking experience.
Day 1: You will be picked up from the Kigali Airport or your hotel to begin your two-day gorilla safari through Kigali and Bwindi.
Following your arrival at the Kigali International Airport, your gorilla safari driver will meet you there and drive you to the Republic of Uganda through the rolling hills of Rwanda. You will pass through Ruhengeri in the Musanze province on the way to either the Cyanika Border Post or the Gatuna Border Post, both of which offer spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes and Lake Mutanda. Your driver will make pit stops so that you can take advantage of photo opportunities along the way.
In order to reach Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, you will need to go through Uganda and check in and out of the migration at the border point. We have a number of different possibilities for where to follow the mountain gorillas, but the portions of Nkuringo, Mgahinga, and Rushaga have proven to be the most successful because of their proximity to the border with Rwanda. The Ruhija and Buhoma parts of the Bwindi Forest Park are two of the park’s other sections.

If you want to fly back after spending two days viewing gorillas in Bwindi National Park and traveling via Kigali, you need to make sure that the flights you book from the Kigali International Airport leave late.
